GENERAL INFORMATION

Global 2000 (2010) International is a registered member/consultant of the United Nations Non-Governmental Organization (NGO).  NGOs act as the hands and feet of the UN for the purpose of catalyzing change on both local and global levels.  Global 2000 (2010) International is a publicly supported charity with a 509(a)(2) designation, and is a registered member of the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations (WANGO).   The 2009 Global2ki Energy & Business Development Summit is committed to educating the world on renewable resources such as solar, wind, geothermal, biogas, biomass, and low-impact hydro.
There is a growing sense of urgency about the role of energy in long-term Global economic vitality, national securities, and climate change. Global2ki has the resources to combat this energy challenge.  The dilemma is to identify which solutions will be right for each country, and how to address the massive technological and social changes to come.
To fill this information gap, Global2ki is launching the First Annual Energy & Business Development Summit to be held April 2nd 2009. This year will be focused on energy technologies, providing authoritative estimates and analysis of the current and future supply of and demand for energy; new and existing technologies to meet those demands; their associated impacts; and their projected costs.
The Summit will also explore path-breaking initiatives, technology, products & solutions that will accelerate the production and adoption of viable, new, non-polluting forms of energy and the companies who provide them.
BEST PROSPECTS
The Central and West Africa sectors that hold the most promise for U.S. exporters are:

The Central and West African region holds some of the world's best prospects for the remaining areas of unlicensed oil and mineral exploration. New seismic data and changing technology that reduce costs in deep water make deep water offshore oil prospects in West Africa viable and have generated serious interest by major oil companies.
